The humanitarian and security situation in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is rapidly deteriorating, according to Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Sjoerdsma. The future of the Netherlands’ engagement in the region remains under discussion.
