The Netherlands acknowledges risks in Chinese buses, but sees no evidence of 'kill switch'

The Dutch government has acknowledged that modern electric buses — including those produced by Chinese manufacturers — contain digital vulnerabilities, but says there is currently no evidence that vehicles can be remotely shut down or manipulated. According to the cabinet, there are no concrete indications that such functionalities are being used or abused in practice. However, ministers stress that further research at the European level is needed.
