Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten has called for intensified cooperation between the Netherlands and Germany as both countries position themselves at the forefront of efforts to strengthen the European Union. Speaking during a government lunch at Kasteel Duivenvoorde, part of the three-day state visit by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Jetten stressed the need for closer alignment in an increasingly volatile geopolitical landscape.
